We engaged Haskins Demolition to demolish an old home that was on our property in rural Alachua County. They were incredibly communicative and handled everything. My husband and I didn't know the first thing about Demolition but was lucky enough to come across Haskins Demolition. They removed a mobile home, some trees with roots and graded the property. I would give 10 stars. I called these 3 companies to get an estimate for removal of debris after a home fire. Haskins responded first, personalized and friendly. I received quote on time (competitive price), and after accepting they quickly managed to get the required permissions and documentation. At the time they were ready to start I received one of the other estimates (from another company) asking what's the company I decided. I said Haskins, he replied: " Oh, good luck" ..and he was right GOOD LUCK 🙂
The other company called even later asking why Haskins, and well.... the answer is clear: Because they are about to start and you are just reaching me back WEEKS after first contact....(that's another story). Haskins started the work on time, they notified us if we would like to be in the property considering the sentimental value. During all the process I was always able to quickly find someone to talk and get answers. They had no problems to directly talk to my insurer about the details of the intended job or discussing with the GRU officer removing the gas meter.
The few times, they did not answer phone call, I did receive a call back. After our project was finalized, a contractor had concerns about the job done. ..Greg stood up for his work and in less than a week returned to the property to show that everything was removed as stated.
For people like me, that are not familiar with the construction industry, we did not know anything about " demolitions" . They took care of everything. I recommend them 1000%...yes a thousand.

Highly recommended. From the moment I called to the jobs completion it was seamless. Office personal returned all my calls an e-mails. Crew was very professional an answered all of my many questions in great detail. Tom an Steve we're fantastic. Showed on time and completed the job very quickly. They left the site looking like the rotton falling down buildings were never there.
Five days from my call to demolishing 2 out buildings. One a well house with all the exposed plumbing an electrical under a crumbling roof an the other building leaning into it. They didn't damage anything...

My husband and I purchased a property in Citra that had an old single wide mobile as well as multiple broken down sheds on the property that had to go! Our land is covered in huge oaks that have great character that I absolutely love (new tree hugger here) and was worried that they would be damaged during the demo but Tom and Steve not only listened to my concern they followed through! One shed was completely tangled up in limbs of one of our oaks that I thought they would never be able to extract without at least losing one limb but that dang Tom was able to pull it off as he handles his machine like an artist with a brush! The entire experience with Haskins was easy and pleasant from the first phone call with Keeley who is pleasant and thorough to the permitting process and job completion! The crew showed up when they said they would and it was like working with friendly neighbors you have known for years! Will without a doubt call on them again should the need arise!

We had our old in ground pool removed by Haskins. I dealt with Keeley, Tom, and Steve. They were all excellent; honest and great communication skills. I would hire them again without hesitation. They did what they said they would do, did it on time, and for the quoted price.

Had a double wide that needed to go from carpenter ant and water damage. Soon as all the paper work was done, and they got out here, it was a 2 day job.Everyone involved was able to explain things easily, and met what few requests we had. While also covering things we didn't think of. They also showed up when they said they would each day.Overall very satisfied with the work, and keeping them in mind next time I need a building to vanish.

I bought a 117 year old vintage property with an in-ground swimming pool I didn't want and a fence that was in disrepair. As a mom to four dogs, including one with 3 legs, the pool was a safety hazard for me in addition to not fitting the character of a historic home. During the inspection period, my realtor referred me to Haskins for a demo quote for the pool. Jimmy and I got along immediately and their office professional Keeley is extraordinary--prompt, professional, detail oriented, and motivated to provide exceptional customer service. In spite of contacting multiple fence professionals, I could not find anyone in the area that would call me back for a quote, so I was delighted to discover that Haskins could also help me with that project. Jimmy and Tom truly understood my need for a perimeter fence that was both attractive and 100% secure. Haskins handled all of the permits and kept me updated while I prepared for my move--including seeing to the added step of obtaining approval from the historic preservation committee in my municipality. Once the work began, I was incredibly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the crew as they broke down the pool, pre-existing landscaping, and old fence. They communicated with me daily to make sure I was happy and to confirm which trees and shrubs I wanted removed and which retained.With both projects underway simultaneously, in spite of weather delays the pool demo was complete in less than two weeks and the fence completed in less than three weeks. Haskins also handled all the waste removal and used a gate that I brought from my property in Alabama. In the end, I got exactly what I wanted: a pool-free yard that now looks twice the size it did before and a fence that will keep my dogs safe. I can't say enough about how easy this process was and how enjoyable it was to work with Haskins Demolition. I would not hesitate to choose them again for any future projects!

We used Haskins Demolition to remove a double wide mobile home and several smaller outbuildings from a lot we recently purchased. The demolition went just as Jimmy Haskins (owner) stated it would. They were very responsive to calls and emails, performed the work when they said they would.
